Sticking to My Schedule

I can't believe we're in the middle of the week already, before I know it it's weekend once again.  My week has been productive so far, I've stuck to my to-do-list/schedule for the week.  I planned to go to the gym on Tuesday and Thursday this week, unlike last week when I went M-W-F and Tuesday too!  I was really on fire, and would like to follow my schedule religiously.  Working out gives me the stamina I need to keep up with my active toddler.  I notice that I have more energy these days and I don't easily get exhausted.  I can finish more chores during the day and also stay up late to do my online work.  But I steal a few winks while my son is watching his show on TV.  A power nap of 15 minutes is just enough to charge me up again.

Mailboxes with Curb Appeal

Though I love the snow and the magical effect of its glow in our lawn, I feel like I have got enough of it already.  I miss playing in the yard with my son and I miss working in my flower beds too.  Anyway, until now our yard and the sidewalk are still covered with snow and the temperature has been really chilly the past days so we seldom go out unless its necessary. Hopefully we won't get anymore snow.  I remember that after every snow season, we also need to replace our mailbox as it gets always knocked down by the town plow. I have lost count of how many times we have replaced our mailbox after the the snow season.

Whenever I have a chat with my girlfriends with older kids, I always get this complaint at how their kids' homework get tougher each level they get and that my girlfriends find helping with their kids' homework very challenging. I know my son is only three and in pre-school, but I'm already anticipating that he would come to me for help in his school work in the future as well. How can one possibly remember what she has learned in school some twenty or so years ago?
